  • We strictly use FireWire capture to digitize analog video formats. FireWire is still the highest quality analog to digital transfer method, and vastly out performs the quality of USB capture devices from Amazon.

  • All 720×480 videos will be converted into an H.264 MP4 file and upscaled to 1440×960 for HD playback. Videos will also go through a deinterlacing procss to remove unwanted tape artifacts.

    Audio will be converted into a 24bit 44.1khz WAV file.

  • For an added fee, converted material can be ‘cleaned up’ using professional software. (RX Spectral Editor for audio and Premier Pro Denoising for video). Results are most often adequate without this.

    Fees will vary depending on length of source material.

  • Each order will include either an external USB drive to store your files, or we can upload the files to the cloud. Each of these options includes a $10 fee.
